Save-the-Date! Plans are well underway for a spectacular 2020 SKA reunion that will coincide with the 400th anniversary of the arrival of the Mayflower in America. Our focus this time is on helping Soule cousins of all ages connect with one another in a variety of fun and interesting ways. Ideas so far include multi-generational, family and kid-friendly activities; individual help with specific Soule lineage documentation; touring historical houses and archeological sites in the area; participating in art, music, and drama events; geocaching and scavenger hunts to discover little-known historical places, and of course, sharing food and libation with Soule cousins.
The John Carver Inn is located within easy walking distance to many Plymouth historical sights and has ample parking, a Pilgrim-themed indoor pool, a full-service spa, and a good restaurant and bar on site. Details to come soon on how you can secure your room at the Carver or another nearby hotel.
We are also working to coordinate our SKA reunion activities with other events being planned by Plymouth 400, the master planning group for all aspects of the 400th anniversary. Specifics and sign-up details will follow as we finalize our ideas.
